17 August 2026: The Finnish Government appointed Jaakko Väisänen as a deputy member of the Industrial Property Attorney Board
In its plenary session on 21 May 2026, the Finnish Government appointed Jaakko Väisänen as a deputy member of the Industrial Property Attorney Board. He will serve on the Board as the personal deputy for Sanna Kalliola during the term from 1 June 2026 to 30 June 2029. The Board consists of a chairperson and eight members, each of whom has a designated deputy.
The task of the Industrial Property Attorney Board is to oversee that authorised attorneys comply with the obligations laid down for them in the Act on Authorised Industrial Property Attorneys (22/2014). In addition, the Board exercises disciplinary power in matters of professional conduct and organises the attorney examinations.
